Wherever you find or kill a max level animal or diamond on one day you might find another one in the same area or herd in the future. It may or may not spawn into the same area or herd you killed an animal from. The size and gender of animals that spawn to replace those you kill is random but at least whatever spawns will be of the same species. Find out the when and the where those pathways are being used. That doesn't mean a handful of each species. In that respect this game mirrors real life.Īt any given time, according to the devs, there might only be a handful of diamond animals on a map at the same time.
I try to do all I can so I can capitalize on getting lucky. In real life I scout the heck out of an area until I find the pathways of undisturbed animals, drinking, feeding and bedding areas. Luck is involved in a lot of diamond encounters.
